Prototyping/Product Development

GFM maintains full service prototype capabilities. The prototype process allows customers to accelerate the verification of design, material and manufacturing feasibility, for faster overall product development.

In most cases, prototypes are produced with details that will be used in the production tools, reducing overall tooling costs. In addition, GFM’s process mirrors the concepts and equipment of the production setting, so that customers are able to evaluate parts in final form before production begins.

Gripflow Fineblanking

GFM can produce Fineblanked Parts requiring extremely tight tolerances from a variety of materials ranging from 0.060 (1.5mm) to 0.500 (12.7mm).

Suitable Materials Include:

  • Press Capacity Range from 125T to 800T

GFM understands that a burr-free part is important for safety, quality, aesthetics, functionality and the smooth operation of a working part. This is why GFM incorporates the use of two multimedia belt-brush machines to effectively remove burrs and produce smooth part surfaces and edges that will meet our customers’ most stringent requirements.

Over Molding

We can Over Mold over various substrates for a variety of applications. Some designs call
for both intricate and stable geometry, while maintaining the structure and strength of metal components. This allows us provide a complete solution to our customers.

Double Disc Grinding

For safety and critical design, tolerancing is important. Double Disk Grinding
achieves tolerances superior to other grinding methods, while creating flawless surface finishes.

Light Assembly

GFM recognizes that some applications demand additional capabilities. That is why we offer additional manufacturing services, including automated assembly, weld cells and more. Let GFM assist you in your assembly projects. Our diverse capabilities allow our customers to gain value from GFM as a single-source supplier.

Future Planning

Understanding that the automotive world is ever-changing, and that parts are becoming increasingly more complex, GFM is poised to meet those challenges head on.   • GFM Parent company LGB ltd is adding a new location in San Luis Potosi , Mexico . This will be a brand new 85,000 sqft facility and will have Fine Blanking, Tumbling, Heat Treatment , Machining & Assembly. It will also have separate area for Industrial Chain Manufacturing & Assembly- Spring 2025
